Maker's Bio
Sarah’s pots are earthy and pure, typical of the Cornish experience and environment. She shares fleeting moments in nature, with mixed media eggshells fired in porcelain, or a motif of a moon behind a tree, or just the colour of rich, chocolatey soil. She endeavours to capture the ephemeral, and her seed pod vases with their chattered surfaces speak of Sarah’s affinity with nature. Always glazed inside, sometimes with bronze or gold finish, Sarah's work is functional but often features the most delicate detail or a stylised maker's mark.
