Artist Bio

These are original watercolours on cotton paper, uplifted by the light of a reflection, or warmed by the tactile qualities of a woodland. Sophie’s watercolours are both loose and fluid, sharp and precise. Inspired by wild hedgerows and seasons, her paintings feel deceptively easy. Sophie’s work is now easily recognisable in Cornwall. She sells her work worldwide and has represented England in The International Watercolour Exhibition in Italy.
